Bats N Rome Hit Single

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

This up and coming Reggaeton dual has a pretty hot single out featuring Domenic Marte. And I say ‘up and coming’ only because I never heard them on the radio in the Chicagoland area. (La Kalle? Jowell Y Randy Another Reggaeton Dual

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

So I recently got a copy of the yet to be released Jowell Y Randy’s “Los Mas Sueltos del Reggaeton”. Unglorious Estefan

Estefan has been on a campaign against Fidel Castro her entire life and her most recent album, 90 Millas, appears to be another kick in the stomach to the Castro Regime. Apparently she comes from one of the many Cuban families that were driven away from the island (by its own people-led by Castro) for merging with the US and taking advantage of their fellow countrymen. And since Castro has successfully developed and taken great care of Cuba since his rule, Estefan really has no argument against him. If you can look past the negative stereotypes given by the old school anti-communist American media, you will know that Cuba has better public schools than Chicago, they lead the world in AIDS research, and are fairly competitive in the Olympics! But, I digress. (more…)

Add Salsa to Your Holiday Parrandas

I didn’t know what to expect when I bought Victor Manuelle’s new CD “Una Navidad a Mi Estilo”, other than that there was Christmas themed songs. I must admit that I fascinated about the album possibly being a modern rendition of what Lavoe did back in the day with the two parter “Asalto NavideƱo”. So I probably set myself up for disappointment at that point, lol, but surprisingly overall the album was pretty good. (more…)
